A group of 42 Global Village volunteers from Korea Electric Power Corporation(KEPCO) joined Habitat Sri Lanka to build homes for families in Batticaloa, Sri Lanka. The volunteers donated USD 14,350 and assisted in the construction of 8 homes through this GV build. The KEPCO team donated 30 solar lanterns to the families in the Eachnattivu village in Batticaloa and also hosted an interactive activity on best practices related to good hygiene and sanitation with the children of the community.
