Homes for Hope Project
The Homes for Hope Project seeks to provide housing solutions for nearly 60 marginalized families in Negombo and Galle. Funded by an individual donor, this unique housing project which is estimated to be completed in 2020, is unlike any Habitat Sri Lanka has embarked on before, as it concentrates on providing safe and decent housing solutions for persons with disabilities; an often marginalized, vulnerable and overlooked group in our community.
Habitat Rebuild Revival Project
The HRR Project is a home improvement project which aims to address the housing needs of low-income families in Paththeyamwatte Village situated in the city of Negombo, located in the Western coastal region of Sri Lanka. The HRR Project focuses on 24 fisher-community families residing in the Paththeyamwatte Village. These low-income families currently live in small one-room homes which lack much needed space and privacy for their growing families.
